Rosemary Turmeric Lentil (AKA Detox Soup)
With the detoxifying spices and herbs of turmeric, ginger, cayenne, rosemary and fennel, this soup complements and augments the detoxifying process and is an excellent addition to the journey towards optimum health.
- Green split peas, green lentils, brown rice, spices, herbs, garlic, onion, organic sea salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper.
- Combine jar's contents and 8 cups of water in a soup pot. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat and simmer on medium-low for just over an hour, or until peas and lentils are tender.
- Once the soup is finished cooking, add a can of coconut milk and sauteed garlic and onions. Garnish with a lemon slice.
