What is a Slush Shower?
Slush is partially melted ice or snow – I think you will see where this story is going.
Every morning I walk to the gym regardless of the weather – rain, snow, sleet – you name it I am getting my a** up out of bed, throwing on my gear and making the trek.
This week on my way to the gym I had a brand-new experience. I had a Slush Shower. This is when you are walking on the sidewalk and a car or truck drives by you really quickly and it basically throws ice, snow, water or a combo there of right at you.
I was minding my own business, listening to my tunes, this truck speeds past me and splish splash I was taking a bath, or a shower. I could feel the slush hit my back, from the top of my head down to my lower legs.
All I could think was – amazing. Slush shower.
And my next thought was, I hope I didn’t get any in my hair.
Oh, and even better – did I mention it was my birthday… made it just so much sweeter.
